what is Conveyor Belt

Conveyor belt is produced with rubber coated and fabric carcass layers in different thickness and strength. It’s used in the mining industry, including : sand, cement, plaster, brick, tile and…
Simple rubber conveyor belt in thickness of 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, which is used in the mining industries such as, cement, brick, sand, flour and etc.
There are conveyor belts in 3mm thickness, with 1 layer of carcass, in 5 & 6 mm thicknesses with 2 layers of carcass and in 8 &10 mm thicknesses with 3 layers of carcass.

The other conveyor belts with higher thickness and more strength are known as Caterpillar.
Top Rubber coated side of belt: it is a part which the material is located on it. It is in smooth, Porous (grip) and V shapes.
The thickness of Down rubber coated side of conveyor belt is less than surface layer‘s thickness.
Material and thickness of this layer should be commensurate with the kind of material handling and its working conditions.
In the manufacturing of conveyor belts the most important principle is the quality of the final stage of production.
Anti-abrasion rubber conveyor belt:  its surface coating is made of a kind of rubber that improves conveyor’s resistance against rubbing.
This belt is designed with high strength to carry loads that rub and including soluble materials, and is resistant against possible strokes.
A kind of conveyor belts which is used in the food industry and flour, with less thickness but high power called elevator belt .it is usually in 6 and 7mm thickness but its EP is about EP1000 or EP800.

This type of belt with fastening of elevators Use for Lifting and moving articles of food such as flour, oil, and seed and so on.
Note: the ideal maintenance of conveyor belts will be possible in low temperature, low light and environments without moisture.
